THE IDEA
Photographing a crew where it lives at night: outside the corner shop, under a bus shelter, indoors. No studio, no built set — the city as it is, revealed by a burst of flash.

THE PLAN
Everyday places chosen for their light: the sign of a late-night shop, the tubes of a bus shelter, the posters stuck on the windows. Low angles, shot from below, giving the silhouettes their full presence.

THE DESIGN
Direct flash cuts faces and clothes — camouflage, grey tracksuits, puffer jackets — out of the black of the street. The whole series shares a green cast, like neon light.
